A loser can win, win....

First off, I just finished watching the Twins/ Brewers game.  Way to go Twins winning 5-0 and Slowey throwing a hell of a game.  They are kickin' ass if you haven't been watching the standings lately...

I am stoked to be off for four days this next weekend.  Wednesday Night through Monday Morning.  My plans are to head to Bob's(My Neighbor) Cabin Wednesday Night and back early on the Fourth of July.  Dane's parent's and him are coming over for a grill out and to walk down to the park for the Fireworks.  It's always fun and I enjoy the holiday.  Warm weather, grilling, sunshine, and some ice cold ones.  I heard a possibility of a couple old friends being in town here soon.  I really hope it works out to spend time with both of them.

I watched a movie called "The Air I Breathe" last night.  I actually thought that it was really good.  And I am glad I gave it a chance since no one I know had said anything about it.  If you get the cance give it a watch.  Oh, I watched "Charlie Bartlett" too and I thought it was just ehhh.  I suppose it is worth a watch and a laugh or two.

I have listened to a ton of Blink 182 today...  I have no idea why, but I still love that band.

The new dartboard is hung up, and awesome...  Can't wait to break it in with Dane tonight.

I'm off to make dinner and enjoy some of the sunshine outside.

P.S.  Listen to the Cute Is What We Aim For.  I'm already addicted to the new album.

When singers wrote songs instead of 'hooks'...

I stayed up all night last night.  I have no idea what it was....  Dane came over after I got off work at 10:30.  We used the hot tub and then watched 10,000 BC.

(Side note: What a terrible movie by the way....

So many things were incorrect and not time accurate at all.

Hollywood does not ad to your IQ.)

Anyways, I didn't want to go to bed after the movie and after Dane left so I went up to my room and started going through a bunch of stuff from my past.  Old bills, pictures, papers, and all of that sorta jazz.  About day light this morning I had a bag and a half for the trash, one bag for Goodwill, and 2 neatly packed boxes for when I move out.  I still have quite a bit of stuff to go through but it was amazing what itunes, insomnia, and time can do for you.  It's a good start and I plan on being very organized and efficient when I move out this time.

I forced myself to get out of bed a little before 11AM this morning.  Watched "Definitely, Maybe" and mostly been screwing around on the computer.  Nothing too special.  Anyways, I think I am going to take Zues for a walk, and listen to some tunes.

Have a great day everyone....

Sing, But Keep Going....

So I was up in the Twin Cities this past weekend.  My cousin Blake Ashley had her High School Graduation Party and my good friends Jenn and Tom were married on Saturday.

I went up to my sis's house friday night and hung out with her and Matt.  Matt slept over cause we were going to the wedding ceremony together on Saturday.  Matt came down to the cities with Jackie, one of my good friends from school.  They are dating and have been for about 9 months now.  Jackie had another wedding to go to on Saturday and it just seemed like on of those weekends where everyone had a ton of crazy stuff going on.  Anyways, I had a blast catching up with Matt and hanging with he and my sis Friday.  You know, with him I always know what I am going to get.  Decent conversation and a light and simple time.  He has been a pretty good friend to me.  I'm still getting used to the fact that he and Jackie are getting so serious.  It's good for them though, both of them. She needs consistency, and Matt needs stability.  I suppose time will tell what happens with those two.

Tom and Jenn's wedding was beautiful.  Gorgeous weather, a beautiful flowered background, and just about a perfect outdoor ceremony.  They looked and seem as good together as they always have.  They have been together for just about 4 years, and really it was just a matter of time.

Zach and Ryan, ex-roommates and basically, ex-friends were at the wedding.  What a joke, I honestly came to the realization that day that the only reason why I was friends with them was because all of my close friends were.  They are both cocky, arrogant, rude, and shovenists.  To both of them, good luck, because I doubt our lives will pass very many more times.  Oh by the way, I will never order sun dried tomatoes on my pizza.

After the ceremony, I chatted it up a quite a few people I had not seen since I basically graduated.  It was nice to see people doing well.  I miss a lot of the old friends but that is life and although the chapter in my book is finished, it is nice to review once in a while.

About 4:30, I decided I better get my ass across the cities and to the grad party.  The grad party was really nothing special but I had to be there, it was family.  Played some yard games, drank some, and by 11pm pretty much everyone had left or gone to bed.  Blake Ashley, Her friend Grant, and I stayed up until almost 3 drinking in her garage.  Had a lot of fun talking music with Grant, he likes virtually everything that Dane and I listen to.  Fall Out Boy, to Fenix Tx, to Senses Fail, and NFG.  It was quite nostalgic, but a ton of fun telling him about all the shows we went to.

Woke up, cleaned up, and headed for lunch with Matt and Jackie before hitting the road back to Roch.  We ate at Mongo's in Maple Grove.  Good Mongolian BBQ is never a bad thing.  All in all it was a great weekend, and It was fun seeing a lot of people I don't get to see all that often anymore.

And back to work today.....  Gotta love be a grow-ed up'd.

Can't wait to move out....  ANYONE NEED A ROOMMATE COME SEPT. 1ST, LET ME KNOW??!

I'm off....

P.S. I love the weather lately, I hope it sticks around a bit.
